The rules
Short version: one word per letter, no swearing, pay double to take a letter, and broken rules get refunded.
How a letter changes hands
- Every letter starts at $5.
- To take a letter, you pay double what the current owner paid. There's no cap.
- Your word goes up as soon as your payment is confirmed, and stays until someone pays double what you paid.
- You can outbid yourself, for example to change your word. It costs double, like anyone else.
- Words can't be edited after paying. Check the spelling before you pay.
- Every owner stays in the letter's history, with what they paid and when.
What your word can be
- It must start with the letter.
- Between 2 and 30 characters: letters, numbers, spaces and hyphens.
- No swearing, slurs, hate, adult content or scams. Our filter checks words, names and website addresses before you pay.
- Real brands and products. Don't pretend to be someone you're not.
- Your link must be a working https website that isn't misleading, harmful or adult.
Refunds
- Being outbid isn't refunded. That's the game.
- Two payments at once: if someone else's payment for the same letter is confirmed just before yours, yours is refunded in full automatically.
- Broken rules: if a claim breaks these rules, including a link that later turns bad, we take it down, refund it in full, and the word before it comes back.
